Have a vienna sausage

Anyone care to guess the first voice heard in this week’s show? It’s someone I’ve mentioned, but who has never appeared on this or any podcast.

• It’s not the humidity, it’s the heat
• Spicing up the kitchen

  1. Shelly, great to see so much great content from you here lately. I checked out Quirky Nomads and am really glad you linked to them. That show is my favourite new find for.. ages!

Great hearing loads of their stories, as well as your “Blind-Girl Story”. It took me a while to figure out my way ’round navigating their blog and MP3’s, so I kept listening to stories and sayin’ to myself, “Is that Shelly’s voice?.. Naaaa! then, found you, and in the process found a great show. It somehow reminds me of the creative writing course that I enjoyed so much many years ago.

So much enthusiasm about another show, but you’re still the top of my PickleFaves!

  2. really enjoyed the Quirky Nomads story, although wish you’d pimped your show at the end! 😉 xx

  3. Thanks, Diane–and it’s great to hear from you.

I assumed that Sage would plug my show if she ran the story. I hadn’t paid enough attntion to her format, which was just dumb of me. I should have included a show ID at the end.

  4. Call me crazy but that first voice sounded like Molly Ivins.

What’s with the requirement for a blogger account to comment on your blog? (yanga is an empty blog account i use for just this purpose.)
